Patient Scheduling Coordinator - Call Center We are seeking a highly organized and empathetic Patient Scheduling Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring a seamless experience for patients by managing appointment scheduling, maintaining accurate records, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Schedule patient appointments accurately and efficiently. * Ensure compliance with all case scheduling policies and procedures. * Communicate appointment details clearly to patients and internal teams. * Audit and complete electronic documentation of patient and case information in a timely manner. * Work under pressure to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards. * Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients, peers, and supervisors. * Uphold and embody the core values of IU Health: Purpose, Excellence, Compassion, and Teamwork. Required Skills * Call center operations * Customer service excellence * Accurate and efficient data entry Must-Have Qualifications * Minimum of 2 years of recent call center experience * Strong attention to detail, especially with data entry * Adaptability to work across departments as needed * Quick thinking and professional response under pressure * Effective verbal and written communication skills * Demonstrated empathy and patient-centered approach Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree (a plus, but not required) Disqualifiers * CNA experience (not aligned with the role's scope) Experience Level * Entry Level - Ideal for candidates with strong call center experience looking to transition into healthcare support roles. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
