Performs a variety of tasks to support manufacturing, production, logistics, or facilities functions and is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations within a fast-paced facility. May operate small machinery, assist with dis/assembly, move/pack materials, and perform minor preventative maintenance while maintaining a clean and safe work area. Completes standard setups/changeovers per documented steps and may perform running adjustments as directed.

As part of a small, passionate, diverse, accomplished, and rapidly evolving team of experts, you will assemble major launch vehicle structures, secondary structures, and other spaceflight systems. You will share in the team's impact on all aspects of transforming the way rockets are made and operated.

We are looking for an entry-level general helper who is committed to safety, and quality to positively impact safe human spaceflight. Passion for our mission and vision is required!

Position Specific Details:

**Shift: Monday - Thursday (5am - 3:30pm), Location: Space Coast, FL,

Responsibilities:

• Help with the setup of new production work areas to include, tooling and equipment
• Capable of operating material handling equipment including forklifts, fork trucks, and other ground support equipment as required
• Helping with Continuous Improvement projects for area safety and efficiency
• Perform routine functions such as daily clean-up of work areas, support 5S activities, and eliminate FOD
• Ability to move parts and tooling from one work center to another
• Ability to work off-shift, extended hours, overtime, and weekends if/when necessary
• Other duties as assigned by higher level technicians/supervision or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Experience in at least three of the following is required:
• Some experience with hand tools and assemblies
• Ability to work from written work instructions
• Work collaboratively with teams of diverse skills, disciplines, and backgrounds
• Communicate clearly and appropriately, in writing and person
• Basic computer skills such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
• Climb ladders/stairs and work in small, restricted areas
• Perform repetitive work, including lifting of items up to 35lbs

• Work effectively with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities
• Continuous improvement mindset. Our job is never complete; we are always refining and improving
• Intense curiosity for understanding the details of our business and how to optimize it
• Experience in a team-based Lean Manufacturing environment
• Military experience

• Required for Certain Job Profiles: Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS) background check if at any time the role requires one to be on a military installation

• Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.

• Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
