This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations.

Blue Origin's Inclusion team is newly chartered to embed belonging into every part of our employee experience and site culture. We are seeking a Principal, Inclusion & Community Strategy leader to serve as the Director of Inclusive People Systems' senior operator, shaping how culture, connection, and inclusion come to life across all sites. This is an enterprise role with high autonomy and direct influence on senior leaders, business unit executives, and site leads.

In this role, you will architect and execute strategies that unify site cultures, advance inclusion as a business driver, and strengthen connection for both current and newly relocated employees. You will own the evolution of our Business Resource Group (BRG) program, launch a new enterprise-wide community integration capability, and serve as a trusted advisor to executives on cultural integration and belonging.

This is a full-time, onsite role based in Rocket Park, FL (preferred) or Seattle, WA. Relocation provided.

There is up to 30% travel required to Blue Origin sites and community partners across the U.S.

Responsibilities:

Enterprise BRG & Belonging (40%):

  • Set and drive the enterprise vision for BRGs, aligning them to business and inclusion priorities.
  • Establish governance, shared metrics, and collaboration models that ensure BRGs operate as strategic partners to the business.
  • Coach BRG leaders and engage executive sponsors to unlock enterprise impact.
  • Lead the evolution of BRGs into cross-functional, cross-site cultural accelerators.

Design & Launch the Community Integration Program (40%):

  • Build and launch a sustainable enterprise capability that strengthens site cultures and supports relocated employees and their families.
  • Partner with site leaders, HR, and BRGs to align site-level culture with enterprise values and business growth strategy.
  • Create external partnerships that enhance community connection and retention.

Program Governance, Operational Infrastructure, Budgeting & Reporting (20%):

  • Own enterprise governance for inclusion and community programs, ensuring scalability and operational discipline.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and executive-level reporting that connect cultural outcomes to business results.
  • Manage budgets and optimize inclusion investments in collaboration with Finance.
  • Develop dashboards, KPIs, and executive-level reports to evaluate impact and scalability.

You'll Thrive in This Role If:

  • Bring deep experience in HRBP, organizational development, enterprise program strategy, or Chief of Staff roles, with a demonstrated ability to drive cultural change at scale.
  • Have a proven track record of advising and influencing senior executives to align cultural strategy with business priorities.
  • Operate as both a strategic architect and hands-on executor in fast-moving, complex environments.
  • Understand the connection between employee experience, site culture, and measurable business outcomes.
  • Are energized by building new enterprise capabilities while modernizing legacy systems.
  • You understand how inclusion, community, and experience directly impact business outcomes, retention, and culture.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of experience HR business partnering, organizational development, employee experience, or enterprise program leadership.
  • Demonstrated success influencing Director-level and above stakeholders and driving enterprise adoption of cultural or inclusion strategies.
  • Experience leading multi-year strategic programs with measurable business impact.
  • Expertise in governance, metrics, and reporting for executive audiences.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of executive storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in aerospace, advanced manufacturing, or high-growth tech.
  • Background in cultural integration for multi-site organizations, including relocation or site expansion.
  • Knowledge of BRG/ERG leadership models and enterprise scaling.
  • Demonstrated experience leading inclusion work beyond programming-especially in culture strategy, site-based initiatives, or onboarding/retention.
  • Bachelor's degree in organizational development, HR, Communications, Sociology, or a related field.

Compensation Range for:

WA applicants is $152,484.00-$213,477.60

  • Required for Certain Job Profiles: Drivers who operate Commercial Motor Vehicles with a Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW), Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) or combination of power unit and trailer that meets or exceeds 10,001 lbs. and/or transports placardable amounts of hazardous materials by ground in any vehicle on a public road while in commerce, may be subject to additional Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations including: Driver Qualification Files, Medical Certification (obtained before onboarding), Road Test, Hours of Service, Drug and Alcohol Testing (CDL drivers only), vehicle inspection requirements, CDL requirements (if applicable) and hazardous materials transportation/shipping training.

  • Required for certain Job Profiles: Ability to obtain and maintain Merchant Mariner Credential, which includes pre-employment and random drug testing as well as DOT physical
