Job Description Johnson County's Department of Technology and Innovation is looking for a Developer Analyst III. This position is a multi-faceted opportunity for the right candidate! Johnson County is seeking a self-motivated individual to participate in the analysis, design, and development of complex applications within the Microsoft .NET Core stack, supporting both custom solutions and third-party system integrations. This is an exciting opportunity to work with modern technologies while playing a key role in delivering innovative business solutions across the wide variety of needs that make up local government. The Department of Technology and Innovation delivers innovative and reliable technology solutions and services to advance the objectives of County staff, elected officials, and the community in a cost effective and efficient manner. First review of applications will begin on September 1, 2025.This position is eligible for a hybrid work assignment. Home location must be in the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. The Developer Analyst III position is responsible for the following:
Completes complex applications analysis, development, enhancement and maintenance.
Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in the following field(s) of study: Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Mathematics or related field and five (5) years of experience in the Information Technology field developing applications or relevant experience required. Our preferred candidate will have the following experience:
Experience can substitute for education. Education can substitute for experience. This position is eligible to work in a hybrid work environment with both onsite and remote work. Residency within the Kansas City-Overland Park-Kansas City, MO-KS Combined Statistical Area, which generally includes the Kansas counties of Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Miami, and Linn, and the Missouri counties of Jackson, Clay, Platte, Cass, and Ray, is required.
