We are looking for a self-motivated, organized individual who is passionate about patient care and excited for the opportunity to independently manage their cases with confidence and accountability. As a HHD/Peritoneal Dialysis Technician (HHD/PD PCT), you will be providing education on peritoneal dialysis to your patients and their care partners in a clinical setting, which then allows them to dialyze from home.

You have responsibility over the complete ongoing care of each patient to ensure their treatment stays on track.

In-Center Hemodialysis Experience is required.

Schedule

  • Typically, an 8-hour day, Monday through Friday with weekends and holidays off!
  • This position will require Peritoneal and HHD training, there will also be floating between Zanesville and Newark
  • Flexibility as you manage your own cases and as a result, own your own schedule.
  • Scheduled home visits and on-call shifts vary by program and are compensated accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Desire to enter the health care field to care for other people in need

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be comfortable working around blood and needles

  • Must be comfortable mixing acid or bicarb

  • Physical and mental ability to work long hours (some shifts are 12+ hours) on your feet so wear comfortable shoes! Our work ends when it's safe for our patients.

  • Willingness to train and work across multiple clinics within the territory as needed.

  • Health care experience a plus including: BONENT Certified, Certified Hemodialysis Technician (CHT), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), or Phlebotomy certification.
