The Opportunity:


The Talent Acquisition Coordinator I plays a crucial role in supporting recruitment strategies aimed at attracting and retaining qualified candidates. This position collaborates closely with the hiring department, HR Business Centers, and internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless hiring process.



UCF is seeking to potentially fill multiple roles for the Talent Acquisition Coordinator I.



Responsibilities:



  • Review and edit new job requisitions submitted by the HR Business Center for posting approval. Assess the posting for clarity, grammar, and tone that aligns with UCF's brand and values. Ensure the posting complies with all relevant policies and legal requirements.

  • Review and approve offer requests, ensuring alignment with disposition codes, and verify candidate qualifications, including education and references, based on role requirements and offer letter standards.

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of university-wide roles and requirements. Respond to inquiries regarding recruitment practices, escalating complex issues as needed. Provide guidance on Workday processes, leveraging the system to manage candidate pipelines and facilitate hiring.

  • Coordinate recruitment marketing initiatives, including job fairs, advertising material development, and enhancing UCF Talent Acquisition's social media presence. Develop cost-effective strategies to promote the university's employer brand.

  • Support strategic initiatives and special projects aligned with UCF HR and Talent Acquisition priorities. Maintain internal systems and logs, and produce reports on recruitment activity, vacancy statistics, and key performance metrics.

  • Assign employment preferences for USPS positions, post second job advertisements, and other administrative tasks.




Minimum Qualifications:


High School Diploma or Equivalent and 0+ years of relevant experience. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience pursuant to Fla. Stat. 112.219. Click here for more information



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Higher education human resources experience preferred.

  • Experience providing administrative and operational support for high-volume recruitment efforts.

  • Knowledge of applicant tracking systems (ATS) such as Workday.

  • Experience supporting hiring departments through the recruitment process.

  • Able to handle multiple projects at once and prioritize work to meet deadlines.

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.

  • Demonstrate a strong capacity for maintaining confidentiality while navigating complex regulatory and procedural environments.
