Position Summary

As the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM), I'm seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our contractor team in supporting the design, implementation, and sustainment of our classified SIPRNet infrastructure. This role is mission-critical and focused on maintaining system integrity, security compliance, and operational availability for sensitive network environments.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT:
Active Secret Clearance: U.S. Citizenship is required


Duties And Responsibilities
  • Evaluate cybersecurity requirements and implement into necessary processes and systems.
  • Characterize cyberattacks surface.
  • Administer, monitor, and maintain SIPRNet systems, including switches, routers, firewalls, and encrypted communication devices.
  • Implement, configure, and troubleshoot network hardware and software aligned with DoD standards.
  • Apply STIGs and security controls for SIPRNet systems in compliance with RMF and DoD cybersecurity guidance.
  • Ensure proper access controls, audit logs, and system hardening procedures are enforced.
  • Maintain network documentation including diagrams, change logs, and security reports.
  • Provide Tier II/III support and respond to system outages or anomalies swiftly.
  • Collaborate with cybersecurity staff to support continuous monitoring, vulnerability remediation, and risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) and other agencies for connectivity, accreditation, and compliance issues.
  • Assisting with forensic investigation.
  • Identify and analyze cooperative vulnerability.
  • Develop system cross-functional cyber analysis.
  • Advise on RMF compliance tasks/documents (security assessment plan, etc.).
  • Security configuration management (assess planned services for risk and impact).
  • Design, develop, and implement system security measures that meets technical requirements.
  • Develop approaches to mitigate system vulnerabilities.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience supporting classified networks; prior SIPRNet experience strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in network administration and security of Cisco, Juniper, and other DoD-compliant technologies.
  • Familiarity with RMF, NIST SP 800-53, STIGs, and other federal cybersecurity controls.
  • Experience with cross-domain solutions, Type 1 encryption devices, and secure transport protocols.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in secure network environments under pressure.
  • Certifications desired: CCNA, Security+, CISSP (or IAM/IAT Level II equivalent).

Additional Information

This position is Hybrid - Remote and will require commuting to a designated office. Hybrid work schedules are determined by the hiring manager based on business need.

We offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package. Annualized pay for this position : $110,500 - $149,500.
