Job Summary

The Senior International Tax Associate will focus on U.S. international tax matters and will work closely with a team of dedicated tax professionals.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the preparation and review of the quarterly and year-end income tax provision (e.g., ASC 740 calculations, deferred tax analysis, foreign country provision review, effective tax rate analysis, etc.)
  • Assists in preparation and review of Forms 5471 and 8858.
  • Assists with preparation and review of Subpart F, Global Intangible Low-Taxed Income and Foreign-Derived Intangible Income calculations and analysis
  • Assists with Pillar 2 and other Global Minimum Tax analysis and documentation
  • Assists with federal and foreign tax audits
  • Assists with transfer pricing analysis and documentation
  • Performs difficult research assignments and participates in special tax projects
  • Stays informe of federal and international tax changes and informs others
  • Develops relationships with accounting personnel in international offices
  • Looks for tax-saving opportunities
  • Assists with ongoing process improvement initiatives
  • Performs ad hoc projects as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting
  • 2+ years of international tax experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Taxation
  • Professional certification (e.g., CPA or similar)
  • Strong foundation of tax technical, analytical and compliance skills and experience, including process and internal controls.
  • Work experience which includes use and leverage of tax tools, applications, and relevant financial systems as well as the demonstrated ability to identify and analyze complex tax accounting issues and the related implications on the Company.
  • Working knowledge in OneSource or similar income tax preparation software
  • Software experience with Alteryx and HFM
  • Ability to interact and team with professionals in various functional areas to resolve complex tax issues throughout the organization.
  • Ability to use own judgment and initiative in problem resolution.
  • Detail oriented, and excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to embrace change and be flexible to changing business needs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills.
