Job Duties:
The post-award accountant will join a talented team of three post-award professionals to support researchers to drive discovery, inform practice and transform the arts, health and education. This team works closely with principal investigators, project managers, and professionals in the School of Education (SoE). The post-award accountant will act as a liaison between the Office of Research and Scholarship team and departments, central campus Research and Sponsored Programs (RSP), and a diverse portfolio of customers and sponsors. The position will report to the post award research financial manager and support post-award functions including financial reporting and closeout for grants, contracts, and mixed portfolios. The position will also support approvals for sponsor-funded procurement, payroll, and subaward invoicing. The position helps implement a best-practices approach to advance innovative sponsored project needs that adhere to a complex regulatory environment relevant to SoE. The -post-award accountant will partner with other SoE Office of Research & Scholarship staff and collaborate with HR and the Office of Finance teams. A successful candidate will demonstrate dependability and flexibility, interpersonal skills, strong multi-tasking abilities, initiative and good judgment. School of Education / Dean's Office / Administrative Services Compensation:Minimum: $74,000 ANNUAL (12 months) Depending on Qualifications.
