Position Overview:

Avis Budget Group is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Analytics Manager to lead digital analytics initiatives that optimize user experience, product development, and business outcomes across our websites and mobile apps. This individual will play a critical role in driving insights and shaping strategy through robust data architecture, advanced reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.

You will be the go-to expert for Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), experimentation, and digital product performance analytics. We're looking for someone who is intellectually curious, technical, and an excellent communicator who can synthesize complex data into clear, actionable insights for leaders across the organization.

What you'll do:

  • Analytics & Insights
    • Lead analytics strategy across Avis Budget Group's digital platforms (mobile apps and websites).
    • Own the development, maintenance, and improvement of dashboards and reporting tools that provide insights to Product, Marketing, and Executive stakeholders.
    • Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize conversion rates and user experience.
  • Data Architecture & Best Practices
    • Architect and maintain the analytics framework and systems to ensure scalability, accuracy, and performance.
    • Define data governance standards and best practices, including documentation, tagging taxonomy, and event tracking.
  • Product & CRO Strategy
    • Support product teams with data that informs roadmap planning, UX enhancements, and feature prioritization.
    • Champion experimentation by guiding A/B and multivariate testing, including design, implementation, analysis, and insights delivery.
    • Collaborate on the integration and optimal use of personalization engines and analytics platforms.
  • AI & Innovation
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of AI-driven strategies that improve customer engagement and operational efficiency.
    • Identify opportunities to leverage predictive analytics and machine learning in product and marketing initiatives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Partner with Engineering and Marketing teams to ensure proper tagging implementation and data collection processes.
    • Act as a key liaison between technical and non-technical teams, translating data findings into business language and actionable strategies.

You should apply if you bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in digital analytics, product analytics, or related roles, with a focus on CRO and web/mobile optimization.
  • Strong technical expertise in tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Quantum Metric or similar.
  • Experience with A/B testing platforms (e.g., Optimizely, Adobe Target) and personalization technologies.
  • Fluency in SQL and data visualization platforms (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI).
  • Strong understanding of tagging frameworks and event tracking strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with Engineering Teams on scalable data architectures and apply analytics best practices.
  • Proven ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
  • Passion for AI/ML technologies and how they can be applied in digital experiences.

The annual starting salary for this position is between $130,000 - $170,000 annually. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
