About the Role

The Manager, Talent & Leadership Development role will support the hiring, training, and development of high-potential Leadership Development Candidates (LDCs) across North America. This leadership role is instrumental in shaping the future of our sales organization by overseeing the career progression of LDCs into high-performing Business Development Managers (BDMs). This role will drive leadership excellence, implement best in-class training programs, and collaborate with executive stakeholders to optimize talent acquisition, development, and retention strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute Talent Strategy & Leadership Development



  • Talent Acquisition & Development: Lead the strategic recruitment, onboarding, and development of Leadership Development Candidates (LDCs), ensuring a seamless transition into high-impact Business Development Manager (BDM) roles.
  • Coaching & Executive Mentorship: Serve as a trusted advisor and mentor for BDMs at all levels, equipping them with the tools, strategies, and leadership acumen necessary to drive exceptional sales performance.
  • Organizational Leadership: Drive the evolution of our business development framework, identifying and implementing innovative methodologies that enhance leadership effectiveness and accelerate team performance.


Strategic Sales Enablement & Business Growth



  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with senior business leaders, regional sales directors, and executive teams to align hiring and development strategies with company growth objectives.
  • Performance Optimization: Establish and oversee key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate LDC and BDM progression, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with revenue goals.
  • Scalability & Process Excellence: Develop and refine scalable talent development initiatives that support the long-term success of our sales organization.


Travel/Track/Monitor



  • Weekly field training (Avg 2 weeks monthly) assisting field reps/managers/accounts on product/program expansion & development.
  • Track and analyze reporting on customers, products, programs, and strategic initiatives to drive insights, inform decisions, and support overall business impact for customers and reps.
  • Utilize systems/programs such as Excel, PDF, Teams, Certified App, Salesforce, LinkedIn, to identify new contacts, track interactions, teach/train, record sales/opportunities, calendar planning, and report on weekly/monthly training performance.


Qualifications:



  • Strong Communication:Ability to effectively assess sales candidates. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational & Time Management Skills:Ability to manage a high volume of candidates and hiring processes simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
  • Results-Driven:Proven ability to meet aggressive hiring targets while maintaining a high standard of candidate quality.
  • Tech-Savvy:Proficient with Excel, Teams, Salesforce, LinkedIn.
  • Adaptable & Resilient:Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Comfortable adapting strategies quickly to meet evolving business needs.
  • Sales Mindset:Understanding of sales performance metrics, customer relationship-building, and the traits that make a successful Outside Sales Representative.
  • Team Player:Collaborative and able to work effectively with internal teams, including Sales Managers, HR, and leadership, to meet goals.
