Summary:

The Contracts Administrator backs up the Vice President of Contracts and assists in contract administrative and management duties as needed. The ideal candidate may assist in the negotiation of government and commercial contracts, subcontracts and modifications, including pricing and terms and conditions ensuring legal sufficiency prior to execution. They will assist in the analysis of indirect and direct financial analysis and make recommendations for operational and business development decisions.

This is a hybrid role in Virginia, you are expected to work on site up to 25% of the time.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Assist in the day-to-day operation of the Contracts and Subcontract Administration functions to include labor and funding burn analysis and Government required monthly deliverables
  • Analyze and identify specific contract deliverables and work with PMO representatives to ensure all deliverables are met
  • Assist in the analysis of CPARS and provide support to the PMO team ensuring the best possible CPARS ratings and outcomes
  • Assist in the maintenance of IDIQ contract compliance at both the IDIQ and Task Order level
  • Supports post contract debriefings and contract reviews from the contractual and pricing perspective
  • Review, identify discrepancies and provide solutions to issues in various contractual documents
  • Works with little direction in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and working within deadlines
  • Maintain current training in contracting trends to include types of contracts and new FAR policies
  • Serve as a backup point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on contract-related matters

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Government Contracting Accounting background with familiarity with contract types (FFP, T&M, LLR, & Cost Plus)
  • Must have a working knowledge of Government Contracting and the acquisition or procurement process
  • Possess a clear understanding of government procurement policies and processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 2-4 years of Government contracting experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Secret Clearance preferred
  • Strong analytical skills

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $85,000 to $110,000 annually.
