Cyber Automation Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Design, implement, integrate, and maintain systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities. Apply leading-edge principles, theories, and concepts and contribute to the development of new principles and concepts. Work on unusually complex problems and provide highly innovative solutions. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed action or decision and mentor or supervise employees in both company and technical competencies.

Basic Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience with designing, implementing, integrating, and maintaining systems and tools to automate complex cyber activities

  • Experience with applying current computer science technologies to the design, development, evaluation, and integration of computer systems and networks to maintain system security and provide information assurance

  • Experience with DevSecOps and Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity in Operational Technology (OT)

  • Knowledge of security architectures, electronic data traffic, network access, encryption technology, penetration and vulnerability analysis of various security technologies, and information technology security research

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Assurance, Information Management, Information Technology, or Computer Science

  • CISSP or CompTIA Security+ Certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of AI enabled cybersecurity automation

  • Knowledge of Cybersecurity Supply Chain Risk Management (C-SCRM)

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $112,900.00 to $257,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
