Summary:

The Senior Lead Supplier Quality Engineer is a strategic and technical leader responsible for driving supplier quality excellence across global operations. This role transforms high-level strategies into tactical execution, ensuring supplier performance aligns with business objectives and regulatory standards. Hollister Incorporated operates in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities:

Execution



  • Translate strategic quality goals into actionable plans and processes.
  • Lead implementation of supplier quality initiatives across global sites.


Scope




  • Independently design and execute complex quality assignments and processes.
  • Provide innovative solutions to technical challenges using deep subject matter expertise.
  • Lead cross-functional and global initiatives that support functional and organizational goals.
  • Serve as a technical authority and mentor within the function.


Functional Knowledge



  • Apply advanced principles and industry knowledge to develop and refine supplier quality systems.
  • Anticipate and address emerging business and industry trends.
  • Drive continuous improvement in supplier quality processes and performance.

  • Navigate ambiguity and change with confidence and clarity.
  • Act as a trusted advisor and catalyst for innovation within the quality function.
  • Inspire creativity and forward-thinking approaches to problem-solving.


Collaboration & Interaction



  • Lead and influence cross-functional and global teams.
  • Serve as a key liaison with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and senior leadership.
  • Represent the company in high-level discussions on supplier quality matters.
  • Mentor and develop talent across functions and geographies.

  • Solve highly complex and unique quality issues with significant long-term impact.
  • Make critical decisions that influence the company's ability to meet strategic objectives.
  • Exercise sound judgment in high-stakes situations involving supplier performance and compliance.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Quality, or related field) required. Master's preferred.
  • 8-12 years overall experience.
  • 12 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 8 years with a Master's degree.
  • Proven track record in supplier quality engineering, preferably in a global manufacturing or regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of quality systems, regulatory requirements, and industry standards (e.g., ISO, FDA, IATF).
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
  • English proficiency (Speaking, Writing)

  • The anticipated base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $145,000 yearly. The actual salary varies based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, abilities, and other legitimate business factors.
  • This position is also eligible to participate in the Hollister Corporate Bonus Plan.
