The Opportunity A SCM maintains strong business relationships with Maersk's Strategic Accounts and is responsible for YoY growth across the Maersk product and services portfolio. SCM's offer transportation and logistics solutions that add value to the client's business, while managing client expectations, and delivering positive results to Maersk. Key Responsibilities
We are looking for Education and Experience * Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience * Industry diplomas or certificates (i.e. CIFFA or CITT) would be preferred, but is not required * Minimum 5 years of experience in international freight forwarding or supply chain/ logistics, or shipping industries * Strong analytical and problem solving skills; results and details oriented personality; organizational skills * Advanced computer literacy and ability to efficiently operate standard office equipment * Good communication (both oral and written) and interpersonal skills are required; ability to work under pressure; team player * Ability to work under pressure and provide guidance to staff * Strong problem solving skills * PC skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) Technical Skills and Competencies Required * Ability to make decisions in the absence of management * Excellent communication skills * Excellent conflict resolution and problem solving skills * A well organized and self-directed individual who is a team player. * Ability to train, coach, evaluate and mentor * Strong and current knowledge of technology platforms, MS Office products, and ability to quickly adapt to new software What we offer This is an exciting career opportunity in an international, challenging business setting known for diversity and being a high paced environment. Job Type: Full Time Salary: $120,000.00-150,000.00 Benefits: Full time employees are eligible for Health Insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401k Match. The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for this position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location.The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
