RW Solutions is looking for a dependable and motivated Utility/Maintenance Worker to join our team. You'll help keep kitchen equipment, plumbing, and facilities in good working order by performing routine maintenance and minor repairs. Your work will ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and guests.

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds


• Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.


• Respond to work orders and emergency maintenance requests.


• Operate tools, machinery, and vehicles safely and efficiently.


• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.


• Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal or landscaping.


• Ensure the proper functioning of plumbing systems (e.g., sinks, dishwashers, grease traps).


• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing leaks, electrical problems).


• Ensure all safety equipment, like fire extinguishers and first aid kits, is accessible and in good condition.


• Adhere to health and safety standards, following food safety protocols in all cleaning tasks.

What You'll Need:

• Experience in basic repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of facilities and equipment.


• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.


• Knowledge of safety equipment maintenance (e.g., fire extinguishers, first aid kits).


• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.


• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.


• Reliable work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-first mindset.


• Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.


• Ability to follow instructions, accurately document work, and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.


• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Bonus If You Have These Skills:

• Experience operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and commercial dishwashers.


• Experience interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for maintenance and repair tasks.


• OSHA Safety certificate, Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) certification, Utility Management certification (UMC), or relevant certifications.


• Working knowledge of HVAC systems and climate control equipment.


• Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and skid steers.

Physical & Environmental Demands:

• Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier loads with assistance.


• Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders or stairs throughout the workday.


• Must be able to work in awkward or confined spaces, including crawl spaces, attics, and mechanical rooms.


• Requires manual dexterity and fine motor skills to operate hand tools, power tools, and precision instruments.


• Must be able to maintain balance and coordination while working on uneven surfaces or elevated platforms.


• Requires visual acuity to inspect equipment, read schematics, and detect malfunctions or safety hazards.

• Requires the ability to work in both indoor and outdoor settings, often exposed to extreme temperatures, humidity, rain, snow, or direct sunlight.


• May involve exposure to hazardous materials, fumes, dust, grease, and cleaning chemicals, requiring the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).


• Must be able to respond to emergency situations, including after-hours calls, and work under pressure to resolve urgent maintenance issues.


• May require working in high-stress environments with tight deadlines, multiple priorities, and unexpected challenges.
