You'll help keep kitchen equipment, plumbing, and facilities in good working order by performing routine maintenance and minor repairs. Your work will ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and guests.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and grounds
- Assist with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry tasks.
- Respond to work orders and emergency maintenance requests.
- Operate tools, machinery, and vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
- Support seasonal tasks such as snow removal or landscaping.
- Ensure the proper functioning of plumbing systems (e.g., sinks, dishwashers, grease traps).
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing leaks, electrical problems).
- Ensure all safety equipment, like fire extinguishers and first aid kits, is accessible and in good condition.
- Adhere to health and safety standards, following food safety protocols in all cleaning tasks.
What You'll Need:
- Experience in basic repairs, cleaning, and upkeep of facilities and equipment.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of safety equipment maintenance (e.g., fire extinguishers, first aid kits).
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently and effectively.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable work ethic, strong attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-first mindset.
- Clear and professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions, accurately document work, and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Bonus If You Have These Skills:
- Experience operating and maintaining cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, pressure washers, and commercial dishwashers.
- Experience interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for maintenance and repair tasks.
- OSHA Safety certificate, Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) certification, Utility Management certification (UMC), or relevant certifications.
- Working knowledge of HVAC systems and climate control equipment.
- Ability to operate industrial vehicles and equipment such as forklifts, scissor lifts, and skid steers.

Physical & Environmental Demands:
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds regularly and occasionally heavier loads with assistance.

- Must be able to work in awkward or confined spaces, including crawl spaces, attics, and mechanical rooms.

- Must be able to respond to emergency situations, including after-hours calls, and work under pressure to resolve urgent maintenance issues.
