We are investing millions of dollars annually to provide customers with the tools to better manage their energy use, scale the adoption of energy efficiency and clean heating technologies while targeting customers in disadvantaged communities, and minimizing infrastructure investment with clean energy solutions whenever possible.The Customer Energy Services department is seeking a creative and analytical strategic leader with strong experience in the clean energy transition. The Section Manager, Energy Efficiency-RECO, oversees the Company's demand-side management (DSM) initiatives to help ensure system reliability, including design, operations, administration, budgetary, marketing, performance and analysis, reporting, process improvement, customer and stakeholder engagement, and the team responsible for implementing these initiatives.The successful candidate will lead a team of experienced DSM professionals that will further the Company's clean energy transition, support Climate Leadership & Community Protection Act (CLCPA) legislation, the New Jersey Energy Master Plan, RECO's Triennium 2 Filing, and implement programs that are designed to achieve the Company's clean energy goals and comply with all regulatory mandates. The Section Manager fosters a culture of high-performance, professional development, inclusiveness and teamwork that values creativity, critical thinking and encourages leadership. The Section Manager partners with Company leadership and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of business objectives, represents the Company's interest to stakeholders and participates in industry organizations to keep informed of best practices and trends.More specifically, the Section Manager, Energy Efficiency-RECO, oversees all aspects of the Company's demand-side management initiatives to meet the goals of the Triennium 2 filing and to maximize the Company's potential to achieve performance incentives for exceeding the T2 goals including energy efficiency, decarbonization and demand response initiatives. The Section Manager will coordinate with the Section Manager of Portfolio Planning and Business Development to develop targeted strategies to exceed goals and to develop the digital tools that customers and trade allies need to engage in our Clean Energy Programs for a plus one customer experience. The Section Manager will also develop the Company's filing for the next Triennium, three-year period. This role will have substantial executive exposure and substantial cross-organization engagement.

- Interface with other O&R departments and conEdison EE&DRI departments to achieve other shareholder incentives and deliver on other Company goals as needed.
- Oversee the analysis existing and new EE, electrification, decarbonization, DR, Non-Pipes and Non-Wires Alternatives and weatherization measure offerings to determine rebate eligibility and economically acceptable rebate levels that will drive participation while maximizing performance.
- Lead a team of experienced DSM professionals that will further the Companys clean energy transition, support Climate Leadership & Community Protection Act (CLCPA) legislation, the New Jersey Energy Master Plan and implement programs that are designed to achieve the Companys clean energy goals and comply with all regulatory mandates.
- Partner with Company leadership and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of business objectives, represents the Company's interest to stakeholders and participates in industry organizations to keep informed of best practices and trends.
- Recruit, develop and retain an engaged and diverse team, while fostering an inclusive and high-performance work environment.
- Build and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders, such as New Jersey Board of Public Utilities, Regulators and Staff, New Jersey Pennsylvania Maryland System Operator, New York Independent System Operator, New York State Energy Research and Development, and industry leaders.
- Represent the interests of the Company to stakeholders, regulators, and other entities.
- Participate in industry organizations to keep informed of best practices and trends.

Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Economics, Business or a related field and a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience or
- Master's Degree MBA and minimum of 6 years relevant work experience.
Relevant Work Experience
- 8-10 years Experience managing individuals and teams, required.
- 2 years Experience in clean energy transition, such as electrification, energy efficiency, demand response, and distributed energy resources, required.
- 2 years Technical knowledge of energy efficiency program design, implementation, and evaluation fundamentals and the ability to implement programs to achieve goals, required.
- 2 years Demonstrated success leading business or corporate strategy development or developing and implementing strategic projects, required.
- Proven range of presentation skills to various audiences, including customers, teams, executives and industry stakeholders, required.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to drive results through collaboration, required.
- Technical knowledge of energy efficiency program design, implementation, and evaluation fundamentals and the ability to implement programs to achieve goals, required.
- General understanding of forecasting processes used for planning and operations and the impacts of energy efficiency and distributed energy resources on such forecasts, required.
- Experience in vendor oversight, including contract development, monitoring and assessing performance, required.
- Experience in planning and managing budgets, required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), required.
- Experience in regulated and/or market driven utility programs, preferred.

Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.

- Must be able and willing to travel within O&R and CECONY service territory, as needed.
