Responsibilities
The Sponsor is seeking an experienced and motivated individual who will contribute to cyber policy and governance, and support the team that is responsible for operations in support of internal and external cybersecurity audits, inspections, reviews, and support for community engagement responses to national-level directives and data calls. The Sponsor's office serves as the focal point for the review, coordination, and drafting of cybersecurity policies, and oversees the implementation of cybersecurity requirements during internal policy reviews, in relation to audits and inspections, and through program management review. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Serve as the focal point for coordination with IT customers and other stakeholders to oversee and review the Customers' responses and actions related to cybersecurity audits, and inspections, including those led by external government entities.
- Take the lead in managing actions, data calls, and an internal dashboard in relation to the subject matter above within the Sponsor's corporate action tracker, SharePoint, and other related workflow databases.
- Conduct necessary research to respond to technical actions or prepare the front office leadership for meetings, working groups, and technical exchange meetings related to cybersecurity audits.
- Develop and update executive-level presentations related to cybersecurity audits.
- Take the lead in administration of taskings related to cybersecurity audits, and provide guidance and support to components within the Sponsor office.
- Ensure responses to requirements are formatted correctly, reviewed, edited, and appropriately coordinated across various stakeholders for input and concurrence as needed.
- Review, consolidate, and prepare formal responses for the actions, taskings, and/or data calls, which are often levied by senior management, and external government entities.
Qualifications
- Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph.
- A degree (or equivalent experience) in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Project Management, Business, or a technical discipline.
- BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5
- Ability to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, including the demonstrated ability to handle ambiguity and manage a variety of high-priority technical tasks with short deadlines and minimal guidance.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively interact with personnel at all levels across the enterprise.
- Demonstrated experience working across organizational boundaries to accomplish tasks.
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking to analyze complex IT and cybersecurity-related information, identify strengths and weaknesses, ask cogent questions, resolve inconsistencies in technical requirements, and propose innovative solutions to challenging IT problems.
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Ability to handle a large volume and variety of IT/Cybersecurity-related tasks and quickly adapt focus as mission requirements evolve.
- Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to effectively use SharePoint, Hive, and Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to fully coordinate project schedules.
- Ability to coordinate program management process activities such as Program Reviews and Control Gate Reviews, including scheduling meetings and preparing briefings/presentations.
- Ability to maintain correspondence suspense files, records, report files, operating procedures, internal memorandums, and compose correspondence.
- Ability to compose technical documents including user manuals, training materials, installation guides, proposals, and reports.
- Ability to fully perform tasks requiring the collection, compilation, evaluation, and publication of information and statistical data.
