The Opportunity

DAT is looking for a strong Help Desk Engineer to join our Help Desk team in Seattle, Washington.

Candidate profile

DAT is currently looking for a Help Desk Engineer to join our growing technical team and drive the evolution of our technology infrastructure and end user experience. Candidates should be comfortable working within a Service/Help desk environment, endpoint management system workflows as well as ticketing systems and driving positive change in a workplace environment.

You should possess a working understanding of networking concepts and modern endpoint security tactics and tools within both major OS platforms. Great candidates will have experience with direct executive support experience.

What You'll Do



  • Being a friendly, supportive contact for all users and presenting the public face of the IT organization and communicating effectively in-person as well as text.
  • Provide first level technical support for our endpoint infrastructure, laptop hardware, software and peripheral issues.
  • Troubleshooting, Break/fix issues and management of Desktop endpoints of both Mac and Windows with both minimally technical personnel and high-touch executives.
  • Managing ticketing systems and working within a queue-based workflow.
  • Responding to endpoint issues, incidents and emergencies.
  • Producing, reviewing and revising documentation for both internal users and teammates.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and system updates.
  • Provide remote support and troubleshooting for users working from home or in the field.


Skills You'll Bring



  • Associate's or bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Computer Science or related field experience.
  • 2 plus years Help Desk/Desktop Support experience.
  • Strong verbal and text-based communication skills
  • Certifications preferred (CompTIA A+, Network+, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration
  • Experience with Google Suite administration
  • Experience with Audio/Video for conference rooms
  • Strong customer service skills, communication skills and positive attitude as well as a technical, team-oriented continuous-improvement mindset
  • Kandji MacOS Device Management experience a plus
  • Okta SSO / SAML, Active Directory experience a plus

For Washington-based candidates, in compliance with the Washington States Pay Transparency Law, theminimum salary for this role is $65,000.00 + benefits + target bonus. The maximum compensation for this role can vary significantly depending on your job-related skills and experience. DAT considers factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education and training, core skills, internal equity, and market and business elements when extending an offer.
