We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Vice President of Data Strategy, Product Governance to lead our data initiatives and drive strategic decision-making across the organization. Accountable for defining and overseeing enterprise data strategies, policies, standards and process related to advanced analytics, insights and artificial intelligence. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of all aspects of Artificial Intelligence, healthcare data, product development, strategic planning, and governance frameworks.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Lead the development and execution of data strategies in collaboration with other Technical, Product and functional leaders and aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Provide leadership and guidance to the data product, strategy, and governance teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize data opportunities that drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
  • Define, implement, and oversee the application of data governance policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data quality, integrity, and security. Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to data privacy, security, and compliance.
  • Oversee the design and development of data products and solutions, leveraging advanced analytics, machine learning, and artificial intelligence technologies.
  • Partner with other technology leaders to drive innovation in data product development, exploring emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain a competitive edge. Partner with internal stakeholders and external partners to enhance data interoperability and facilitate data exchange initiatives.
  • Establish Objectives & Key Results, (OKRs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of AI capabilities and initiatives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION ANT TRAINING

  • Master's degree in health care management, computer science, statistics, or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the data management, product development, strategy, or related roles within managed care or the healthcare environment with supervisory responsibilities.
  • Proven track record of leading successful data product initiatives from concept to delivery.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare data standards, protocols, and regulatory requirements (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH, GDPR).
  • Experience with data governance frameworks, data modeling, and metadata management.
  • Strong data analytic capabilities, and written and oral communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with proven experience in relationship building and partnering. Must work well in both team and individual settings and must be able to work with a geographically dispersed team.
  • Ability to create strategies and plans that define how information can be utilized to support an organization's overall business strategy, and how that information and data is organized, and governed inside an organization.
  • Strong project management skills and a demonstrated ability to understand complex information product constructs

The Salary Range for the role is $195,000.00-$286,600.00 per year.
