MONDAY - FRIDAY

10:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Summary Inventory control, usage and rotation of product by oldest dates and daily reconciliation of meat received or issued by performing the following duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsible for straightening the cooler.

Responsible for ordering needed supplies.

Performs daily supply inventory, as well as inventory of cooler and trailers on the yard containing product.

Loads and unloads supply trailers.

Makes entries into the computer and accomplishes production reconciliation report.

Sets up label printer, prints labels and pallet tags and issues them to production lines.

Completes required paperwork daily; monitors accuracy of current and previous days paperwork.

Monitors for schedule changes throughout the day and makes necessary updates.

Delivers packaging supplies to production line and returns unused supplies from the production area to the supply room.

Cleans and mops supply room.

Distributes supplies to production employees as needed.

Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack and forklift.

This is a safety sensitive position.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Must have a pallet jack and forklift operators license.
