Job Title: Inside Sales Representative

Division: Nova Technology

Location: Menomonee Falls, WI

Summary

Work directly with the Sales Manager in creating and processing additional sales leads and growth within the division.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Compile list of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows, direct mail responses, Internet Web sites, and other sources.

Make outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing customers by telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and services.

Handle inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into sales.

Develop new customers and enhance business with existing customers.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical and business issues of prospective customers.

Emphasize salable features, quote prices and credit terms, and prepare sales orders for orders obtained.

Estimate date of delivery to customer, based on knowledge of production and delivery schedules.

Coordinate customer training and demonstrations.

Prepare department reports.

Enter new customer data and other sales data for current customers into computer database.

Work with outside sales representatives to keep account activities and literature up to date.

Investigate and resolve customer problems with deliveries.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6 months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
