Project Description: The scope of this work is to support Harmonia's federal government customer in managing a mature cybersecurity workforce equipped with the experience, appropriate training, education, and necessary skill sets to maintain and mature their customer's ability to identify, engage, monitor, communicate, and remediate the evolving cybersecurity and privacy threats to the Department's information assets. This work requires adequately reviewing, auditing, conducting gap analysis, developing, creating strategic and tactical plans in order to meet and implement various cybersecurity and privacy regulations, legislations, mandates, and directives protecting the governments information assets. The following services will be performed:



  • Cybersecurity Strategy and Engagement Support Services
  • Cybersecurity Communications Support Services
  • Cybersecurity Advisory and Strategy Support Services
  • Cybersecurity Design and Innovation Support Services
  • Cybersecurity Project Oversight and Enhancement Support Services
  • Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program Support Services


Position Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to support a high-impact cybersecurity program for our federal government customer. This individual will play a critical role in driving secure, mission-aligned technology solutions by translating business needs into actionable cybersecurity requirements, supporting stakeholder engagement, and aligning processes with federal cybersecurity standards.

Responsibilities:



  • Assist with the development of FISMA system maturity score ratings based on Federal policies or mandates.
  • Gather and analyze assessment questionnaires on a periodic basis using MS Excel, Power BI and PowerPoint.
  • Automate the FISMA system maturity score ratings data collection and reporting process to automatically ingest data for visualization to improve reporting and reduce reporting timeframe from annually to quarterly.
  • Import scoring data and update reports based on the result of assessments.
  • Develop a process for quarterly updates of FISMA system maturity scores to measure progress against implementing capabilities as defined by the Government.
  • Analyze and report on monthly FISMA data collection.


Requirements:



  • A bachelor's degree.
  • At least 5 years of experience with data and business analysis using tools such as MS Excel, Power BI Power Apps, Power Automate, SQL.
  • Federal Experience desired
  • Cybersecurity Experience desired
  • Understanding of federal cybersecurity frameworks desired (FISMA and NIST)
