Job Description:

The Sr. Credit & Collections Analyst for our CCA (Caribbean Central America) Organization reviews new and existing customers to determine appropriate credit limits and terms, and reviews sales orders for release for a large dynamic technology organization.

Working in a fast-paced environment, this role collaborates closely with the AR team, sales organization, and customers to gather necessary information to maximize revenue potential while mitigating excessive credit risk

What You'll Do:
  • Reviews of new and existing customers to determine appropriate credit limits and terms.

  • Analyzes financial statements when provided and for credit requests greater than $50K.

  • Documents analysis and justification of credit decisions.

  • Handles account base of moderate complexity.

  • Review and release orders, within guidelines, as needed.

  • Works autonomously or in group settings on strategic initiative projects as assigned by management.

  • Serves as a resource for questions and guidance for other team members.

  • Performs other additional duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:
  • High School Diploma with Credit Certification (i.e. CBA) and/or Specialty Credit Experience/Training (i.e. UCC Filing, Commercial financing, etc.) required.

  • Proficient in English (level B2 or higher) required.

  • Understand, communicate, and collaborate effectively with people across various identities.

  • Possesses strong organizational and time management skills, driving tasks to completion.

  • Works on small to mid-size accounts of moderate complexity.

  • Works with some supervision.

  • Experience in commercial credit analysis and review of public and private companies with sole credit decision authority.

  • Intermediate financial statement analysis skills and interpretation.

  • Familiarity with and interpretation of credit reports.

  • Demonstrated understanding of financial statements, analysis, interpretation, and GAAP.

  • Demonstrated ability to find financing solutions that facilitate sales while managing AR risk appropriately.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate professionally and amiably with internal and external customers.

  • Basic financial statement analysis skills and interpretation.

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Actions impact the success of the entire work group.

  • Failure to accomplish goals or meet customer expectations will result in failure of the work group to meet goals.

Other Education/Certifications:
  • College degree in Finance or Accounting field of study desired.

Working Conditions:
  • Professional environment (Remote).

  • May be required to work in shifts (timings subject to business needs).

  • Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.
