We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to help us ensure a productive and safe work environment. As a Trex Maintenance Manager, you will be looked to as an innovator in the manufacturing process and expected to determine the plant and equipment needs and secure the manpower and parts to meet production requirements. This role is a key member of our Maintenance team.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Put safety first - Always!
  • Lead and foster our "people first" culture.
  • Oversees tasks associated with the maintenance of production equipment and related systems.
  • Responsible for generating and owning the annual maintenance budget.
  • Generates and provides structured advanced training for all maintenance personnel.
  • Supports the Reliability Department, including PdM and lubrication.
  • Serves as the technical expert supporting all company maintenance entities across the organization.
  • Oversees and directs the spare parts program to ensure budgeted uptime.
  • Collaborates on the root cause analysis of equipment failures and implements fixes.
  • Coordinates preventative maintenance with the production planning staff.
  • Receives and reviews maintenance requests and prioritizes maintenance activities based on urgency and availability of resources.
  • Inspects equipment regularly to identify current and potential maintenance needs.
  • Maintains records and documentation related to equipment and workforce
  • Manages the work of technical maintenance staff, contractors, or subcontractors.


DIRECT REPORTS

Manage and provide ongoing performance, coaching, and professional development opportunities for a team of 40-50 direct reports, including Maintenance Techs, Leads, and Administrative Assistants.

EXPERIENCE

We are looking for leaders with five or more years of experience directly supervising maintenance personnel. A bachelor's degree in a technical program and experience in manufacturing operations are strongly preferred. We want to hear from you if you have previous experience as a Maintenance supervisor or facilities manager.

SALARY

Base Salary Range $112,000 - $135,000 annually.

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual/sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.

At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We are committed to maintaining pay equity and consider the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
