Job Description

As a Pre-Sales MES Solution Consultant you will support our Life Sciences customers, with a strong emphasis on FactoryTalk PharmaSuite or equivalent MES platforms. You will be critical in driving digital transformation initiatives by architecting and presenting Manufacturing Execution System (MES) solutions that align with customer goals and regulatory requirements.

You will work in a remote environment and report to the Director, Professional Services (Manufacturing Operations Management).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of MES solutions, particularly using FactoryTalk PharmaSuite or competitive platforms (e.g., Werum PAS-X, Siemens Opcenter, POMSnet).
• Translate customer requirements into scalable, compliant, and value-driven MES architectures.
• Collaborate with MES software sales and other Rockwell business teams to identify customer needs and jointly pursue and win new projects.
• Deliver compelling product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and technical workshops.
• Develop and present technical proposals, RFIs/RFPs, and solution roadmaps.
• Support pre-sales and solution development activities such as coaching, workshops, requirements gathering, facility assessments, and proposals.
• Define solution approaches and incorporate customer objectives into the architecture.
• Break down complex business requirements into functional requirements and develop solution scope.
• Demonstrate working knowledge of MES system development, validation, business change management, and implementation of FactoryTalk Production Center Application Suites (PharmaSuite).
• Advise customers on digital maturity, MES best practices, and integration with ERP, LIMS, PLM, CAPA, and automation systems.
• Engage with stakeholders across IT, OT, QA, and manufacturing leadership.
• Represent Rockwell Automation at industry events, webinars, and customer forums.
• Contribute to whitepapers, case studies, and internal knowledge sharing.
• Demonstrate a solution-oriented mindset and openness to new challenges.
• Promote knowledge sharing and take ownership of project deliverables and execution.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• Legal authorization to work in the US (no visa sponsorship available).
• Willing and able to travel and work at customer sites up to 50%.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have

• 8+ years of experience in MES solution delivery.
• 5+ years of experience in a pre-sales or solution consulting role.
• Knowledge of FactoryTalk PharmaSuite or similar MES platforms.
• Familiarity with ISA-95, S88, and S95 standards.
• Experience with system integration, data modeling, and enterprise architecture.
• Demonstrated high level of manufacturing operations.
• Experience with Functional Specifications and common design methodologies.
• Experience with VMWare environments, networking, and operating systems.
• Experience with MES systems such as Rockwell FactoryTalk, PharmaSuite, or other recognized platforms.
• Experience with other manufacturing operations systems (LIMS, ERP, PLM, CAPA).
• Project management experience and understanding of best practices.
• Certifications in MES platforms or project management (e.g., PMP, TOGAF).
• Multilingual capabilities.
