About Strategic Accounts team (group within DWS)

The Strategic Accounts team role is responsible for the advancement, promotion, and growth of DWS' active, passive, and alternatives strategies with client discretionary and non-discretionary platforms across the US wealth channels.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent DWS and all of our services and capabilities to the home office personnel of our valued partner clients and prospects.

  • Build strategic business plans with those select firms to aid distribution efforts.

  • Understand priorities and views of client research, strategy, asset allocation and CIO teams

  • Cultivate strategic partnerships across all aspects of the relationship

  • Dynamic engagement with clients to inform product and platform development

  • Partner closely with IPR, DWS Divisional Directors, Wealth Consultants, Internal Consultants, Specialist coverage to maximize holistic effectiveness at client accounts and drive market share and visibility.

  • Service, maintain and grow existing assets and brand within partner firms.

  • Secure, interpret and distribute advisor data to help inform areas of focus.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Bachelors Degree Required.

  • Series 7/63 licenses required.

  • CRM Experience, preferable Salesforce.

  • Five plus years of Account Management/Distribution experience preferred.

  • Major BD & IBD account management experience is required, Morgan and Merrill are necessary.

  • Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.

  • Enthusiastic partner and consummate team player.

  • Resourceful problem solver; tireless self-starter

  • Extensive travel required

The salary range for this position in New York is $114,000 - $220,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. This position is eligible for incentive compensation in the form of commission payments. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
