Job Description

As a Specialist in the Performance Reporting & Reconciliation team with RBC Wealth Management, you will be responsible for daily account reconciliation of cash, positions and alternative investments in the performance reporting applications. You will provide analysis for difficult performance reporting issues and problem solve as needed independently. You will create ad-hoc customized performance reports for high net worth clients, and provide support to financial advisors and internal business partners for performance reporting inquiries. You will partner with the department manager to develop and enhance quality checking reports to reduce erroneous data elements within the Addepar application. Lastly, you will act as a point of contact for escalated performance reporting questions.

What will you do?

  • Independently research and provide analysis into difficult performance reporting issues within the Addepar application
  • Reduce risk or increase efficiencies by suggesting/developing process changes, and enhance quality checking to reduce erroneous data within Addepar
  • Act as a point of contact for individual and internal business partners requiring research and/or problem resolution regarding performance reporting issues
  • Provide accurate analysis and processing support for manual, exception based, complex, and/or highly specialized processes within the department.
  • Assist with daily activities in a timely manner while ensuring all department service levels are observed
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Ability to effectively train, lead and provide work direction to others
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Effective problem identification, analytical and resolution skills required to support escalated issue resolution and/or oversight requirements
  • 4-year degree from an accredited university (or equivalent) OR high school diploma (or equivalent) AND two years of work-related experience.
  • 1-2 years of performance reporting experience

Nice-to-have

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in business, finance or related field
  • Experience with Addepar

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $45,000 - $75,000 depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
