We are seeking a proactive and experienced Quality Manager to join our Industrial Solutions team in Conroe, TX. This facility designs and manufactures filtration systems for the oil & gas industry, as well as for industrial water separation systems. In this role, you will lead the development, implementation, and management of our quality management system (QMS). You will play a pivotal part in preparing the site for ISO 9001 certification and ensuring compliance with applicable quality standards and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader capable of building a strong quality culture and driving continuous improvement.

You will:

  • Lead ISO Implementation by developing and executing a comprehensive plan to achieve ISO 9001 certification, including gap assessments, documentation, audits, training, and process improvement.
  • Establish, maintain, and improve the QMS in accordance with ISO standards and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain quality procedures, work instructions, forms, and records in line with ISO requirements.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits, identify root causes of nonconformities, manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Oversee inspection and testing activities to ensure product compliance; implement process controls and quality checks throughout manufacturing.
  • Manage quality-related customer inquiries, complaints, and audits; ensure customer specifications and requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Support the maintenance of supplier quality programs; assess and audit suppliers to ensure conformance to standards as needed.
  • Partner with Manufacturing Engineers, Quality Engineers and Sourcing to address and drive supplier corrective actions through formal corrective actions and 8-D problem solving techniques.
  • Train and mentor site employees, as well as direct reports, on quality procedures, tools, and awareness; promote a site culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Establish KPIs for quality performance; report regularly to leadership on QMS effectiveness and improvement initiatives.
  • Support the Plan for Every Part (PPAP) process from a quality perspective, both from an internal and external requirement.

Key Qualifications:

  • Have earned a Bachelor's (B.S.) degree in an Engineering, Scientific, or related field.
  • Have 7+ years of relevant experience, including specific quality engineering experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Have 3+ years of leadership experience, including strong project management skills and an ability to lead cross-functional project teams and direct reports.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing or managing an ISO 9001 QMS and experience with document control, calibration, and supplier management processes.
  • Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, FMEA, SPC, 5 Whys, PDCA).
  • Experience with LEAN, Six Sigma, PPAP, ERP, and basic SPC tools a plus.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification a plus.

Travel:

  • Ability to travel, including internationally, as needed (1-2 trips/year).

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $82300 - $152800 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.
