Your Opportunity: Taylor Communications is looking for a Digital Press Operator.

Your Responsibilities:

• Follow job instructions carefully and make sure all details are completed accurately. Watch for any issues or errors and fix them right away.

• Set up and adjust the press as needed to match job specs before and during production.

• Keep an eye on quality throughout the run. Double-check details against the specs and make adjustments as needed.

• Watch your equipment while it's running. If you spot a mechanical issue, report it or call maintenance.

• Start jobs on time and keep them moving according to the production schedule.

• Perform regular maintenance and basic upkeep on your machine.

• Hit the expected goals for output and minimize waste or spoilage.

• Follow all safety rules and keep your area clean and organized-especially to help with smooth shift changes.

• Fill out all logs and paperwork correctly and completely.

Your Shift: 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm

You Must Have:

• A solid mechanical and technical mindset-you should be comfortable working with machines

• Basic math skills (you'll need to read a ruler and figure out label sizes to make the most of materials)

• The ability to learn and run equipment well enough to hit production and quality goals

• Comfort following both written and verbal instructions for each job

• Clear and professional communication skills

• Strong attention to detail

Requirements within this position:

• Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information and ideas so others will understand.
• Regularly required to remain in a stationary position.
• Constantly operates machinery and handles products including print materials.
• Frequently required to move inside the facility.
• Regularly move up to 25+ pounds (lift, push, pull and/or carry).

We Would Also Prefer:

• Ability to distinguish colors
• Experience in a production related environment
• High school education or equivalent
