Business Analyst, Consultant

Your Role

The Network Management team is responsible for the development and maintenance of all provider networks, including vendor and Plan-to-Plan relationship necessary to provide our members and clients with access to quality, affordable health care services.. The Business Analyst, Consultant will report to the Senior Manager, Provider Services. In this role you will support Blue Shield's Behavioral Health and selective Ancillary programs including supporting Plan to Plan, and vendor operations.

Your Knowledge and Experience

• Intermediate to advanced SQL skill level is required including:
  • Ability to develop original queries
  • First-hand knowledge of data entity relationship concepts
  • Demonstrated background extracting information from data repositories
• Experience analyzing Behavioral Health data, preparing summary reports for presentation, accuracy and integrity to meet regulatory and operational requirements preferred.
• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Requires at least 7 years of prior relevant experience
