The Department of Otolaryngology and Communication Sciences is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support the Pediatric ENT Inpatient Service located in in Milwaukee, WI at Children's Hospital. The subspecialty of the Pediatric ENT Program (Otolaryngology Program) provides specialized medical and surgical care to infants, children, and teens who have problems with their ears, noses, or throats. The Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Medical College of Wisconsin is the largest group of fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologists in the State of Wisconsin - an incredible opportunity to learn from and work with the best! The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) works as a member of a multidisciplinary health care team who will contribute to excellence in program administration, patient care, patient safety, research, quality improvement, and teaching. The Ideal Candidate will be an experienced APP or Clinician looking to be part of a thriving and very collaborative academic practice at the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW). Areas of responsibility will include, but not be limited to providing direct patient care to Pediatric Patients in an Inpatient/Hospital setting. In this role you will work in conjunction with the department's Pediatric Otolaryngology Division specialist to manage the inpatient service, see consults in the Emergency Room and urgent patient visits in clinic. You will also work in support of the specialists with complicated patients and ensure appropriate continuity of care for all program patients along with developing and implementing clinical pathways/protocols, participate in quality projects, and implement Pediatric Otolaryngology Division initiatives.

The hospital, with locations in Milwaukee and Northeast Wisconsin, is recognized as one of the leading pediatric health care centers in the United States. Preferred Experience: Previous APP, Clinician, ENT, Inpatient Pediatric experience preferred. Minimum Education: Advanced Practice Nurse: Master's Degree or higher in Nursing Minimum Requirements: *or eligible Advanced Practice Nurse Physician Assistant
