MHS is seeking an Alumni Engagement Coordinator to support its exceptional Alumni Relations Program. This role is critical to increasing alumni engagement in support of the school's strategic initiatives. The coordinator will cultivate a collaborative relationship between MHS, the Milton Hershey School Alumni Association (MSHAA), and other relevant alumni associations to foster lifelong alumni connections and engage alumni in proactively sharing their time and talent in support of the MHS mission.

Key Responsibilities



  • Increase alumni commitments and engagement to provide professional expertise and volunteer support for programs and events; recruit, train and coach alumni as needed.
  • Develop new programming to increase alumni engagement.
  • Educate current students on alumni benefits and engagement opportunities while fostering connections with alumni services.
  • Assist in planning and executing alumni events both on and off campus.
  • Serve as the liaison to MHSAA, aligning the school's strategic goals with a shared mission, values, and initiatives.



Position Details



  • Location: On-site in Hershey, PA
  • Compensation: $61,000 - $82,000 (based on experience) + excellent benefits package

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree required; MHS alumni preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a related field (e.g., alumni relations, communications, marketing).
  • Program & Event Expertise: Demonstrated success in event management and program development.
  • Relationship Building: Proven ability to foster strong, productive relationships with alumni, staff, and students.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to manage multiple priorities and proactively overcome challenges.
  • Accountability: Strong commitment to achieving program goals and contributing to student success.
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable using educational technology and digital engagement tools.
  • Integrity & Passion: High ethical standards and an eagerness to proactively engage with students.
