Surgery Coordinator (Non-Exempt)

Additional Job DescriptionEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent.Licensure:Experience: Ophthalmology or eye experience preferred.Certifications: BLS certification beneficial.Other: Skills, knowledge and abilities: Working conditions, mental and physical requirements: Must be able to multi-task effectively. Requires the individual to be self motivated and be able to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: May be required to work differing schedules, shifts, days of week, or work frequency according to departmental requirements. Stand and walk most of the time on duty. Lift and push equipment. Lift patients and push patients on stretchers, and on hospital beds and/or surgical tables.
