Work Schedule:

80% FTE, 8 hour shifts between the hours of 8 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday. No weekends or holidays. You will work at 4602 Eastpark Blvd in Madison, WI.

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to:

  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to care for patients with endocrine-related conditions requiring surgical evaluation or intervention, including thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal disorders.
  • Perform key nursing responsibilities such as pre-visit planning, patient assessment and triage, and patient education.
  • Provide surgical education and care coordination for a range of conditions, including:

o Thyroid disorders (Graves' disease, Hashimoto's thyroiditis, thyroid cancer, nodules, goiters)

o Parathyroid disorders (primary hyperparathyroidism, parathyroid adenomas)

o Adrenal disorders (adrenal tumors, cancers, pheochromocytomas, adrenal masses, hyperaldosteronism)

  • Communicate effectively with patients through phone triage and MyChart, offering education and support throughout their care journey in the ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of school of nursing Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) Preferred

Work Experience

  • 6 months of RN experience Required
  • Relevant RN experience Preferred

Licenses & Certifications

  • Registration as a registered nurse in the state where employed or licensure in a state in the licensure compact Upon Hire Required
  • CPR/BLS Certification Upon Hire Required
  • Applicable clinical certification Preferred
