Logistics/Procurement Specialist LOCATION: Eglin, AFB FL JOB STATUS: Full-time CLEARANCE: TS/SCI (Special Access Programs) CERTIFICATION: TRAVEL: 10-20% (CONUS/OCONUS TDYs) This position provides support to the 48th Cyberspace Test Squadron (48CTS) at Eglin AFB, FL in planning and coordinating with contracting officers and procurement professionals for the acquisition of major equipment items for the 48CTS Cyber Test & Evaluation Complex (CTEC) as well as other procurement needs within the 48CTS. The Cyber Test & Evaluation Complex (CTEC) provides Cyber T&E Capabilities to support weapon system program offices across the DoD. The Lab Tech/Logistics specialist will be responsible for the configuration, acquisition, and maintenance of equipment and systems within CTEC test environments. In addition, this role will support cable design and fabrication, configuration of power supplies, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and functional verification of equipment and interfaces. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- U.S. Citizenship is required.
- Active Secret clearance is required and must be able to obtain/maintain a Top Secret clearance.
- Master's Degree and over 10 years of relevant experience in the field of aircraft and weapons testing, business management and/or IT systems. Additional applicable experience may be substituted for the Master's Degree requirement.
- Possess superior leadership and teamwork skills to act as a project lead, coordinate with military, government, and contractor personnel.
- Ability to lead discussions with test engineers, field engineers, and aircraft and weapons analysts to determine test requirements.
- Read and interpret technical data/drawings to establish test requirements.
- Meet deadlines and deliverables, work multiple projects simultaneously and effectively communicate recommendations, and develop courses of action.
- Possess excellent organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively, and present technical details both written and verbally.
- Proficiency in the use and integration of Microsoft Office applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project) is required. Proficiency with Visio and Access is a plus.
- Excellent self-initiative and self-motivation with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively in small and large team settings to solve complex problems.
- Travel up to 4-6 weeks per year, within US.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS
- Experience at DoD occupational safety and health publications
- Experience with Tool control inventory systems such as TC Max or equivalent
- Experience with Aircraft and Weapons Testing, Training, and/or Techniques
- Already having IPC-610 (electronic assemblies), IPC-620 (wire harness assemblies), and IPC J-STD (soldering) certifications

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Performs as a member of the CTEC laboratory team for asset management, acquisition, and test and evaluation support.
- Setup and initial test of lab equipment such as power supplies, oscilloscopes, and spectrum analyzers as needed to support test environments
- Designs and fabricates avionics cabling (cannon plug breakout cabling) to support systems under test
- Inspects and maintains shop stock and consumable levels of diminishing assets
- Use of Computer Automated Drawing (CAD) software to create designs for 3D printer
- Assist in drafting acquisition documentation and status reports for 48CTS approval and subsequent submission to contracting officers.
- Manages assigned equipment accounts in accordance with applicable DoD and 96CTG policy (hardware and software)
- Learn and operate various test laboratory equipment to support the CTEC mission
- Works with vendors to get quotes and presents to leadership for decision
- Supports 48CTS squadron and flight level leadership in the drafting and implementation of process and policy documents
- Performs other duties as assigned.
