We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Specialist to ensure the accuracy of finished goods and supply inventory in support of our global customer base. This role plays a key part in maintaining seamless operations across production, logistics, and distribution by maintaining accurate inventory records for finished goods and supplies to meet worldwide demand, coordinating transportation and receipt of materials to support production schedules, and overseeing the movement of products from suppliers through distribution to customers.

The Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring smooth logistics operations.

Key duties include:

  • Managing inventory accuracy in SAP through cycle counts and physical audits.
  • Acting as the primary SAP user for warehouse and shipping functions.
  • Identifying and recommending updates for routing deviations.
  • Supporting documentation and procedural updates.
  • Investigating and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  • Auditing inbound distribution center processes.
  • Communicating order and delivery details.
  • Tracking inbound and outbound shipments and preparing related documentation.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams (e.g., customer service, supply chain, warehouse, quality, production, freight forwarders) to coordinate shipments.
  • Ensuring proper packaging and repackaging to meet customer requirements.
  • Creating and reconciling purchase requisitions.
  • Supporting customer service and resolving invoicing issues.
  • Managing yard equipment assignments and orders.
  • Maintaining compliance with logistics quality, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Keeping accurate electronic and physical inventory records.
  • Performing general administrative tasks such as filing and data entry.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration
  • Proficiency in SAP required
  • Experience with cycle counting preferred
  • Proficient with computers and digital tools
