Snowflake is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Senior Manager, Partner Growth & Activation to lead a high-performing team. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in maximizing the value and impact of our strategic partnerships, driving their investment and success within the Snowflake ecosystem. You will define optimal partner journeys, craft compelling value propositions, and equip our partners with the essential resources and knowledge to thrive and expand their Snowflake practice. This includes owning the comprehensive communication strategy to partners and ensuring our investments in their development yield measurable, accelerated growth.

This position calls for a visionary leader who combines strategic foresight with persuasive messaging capabilities of a Product Marketing Manager. You will excel at identifying key partner personas and translating complex technical and business value into clear, compelling narratives that resonate deeply. Your exceptional Partner Communications skills will be vital as you own and optimize the channels that deliver these crucial messages, ensuring maximum reach and impact. As a hands-on leader, you will inspire your team by example, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment while being unafraid to dive into the tactical details to ensure our partner development initiatives are executed flawlessly and drive tangible results.

Collaborative Impact

Success in this role hinges on exceptional cross-functional collaboration. You will work hand-in-glove with marketing, alliances, and sales leadership. . Crucially, you will also partner closely with Snowflake's alliances and marketing team leaders across key segments (e.g., Cloud, AI, Tech Partners, and SIs) and Partner Programs Team to ensure seamless alignment, shared objectives, and accelerated execution across the entire partner lifecycle.

AS A SENIOR MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL:
  • Drive Strategic Positioning & Value Articulation: Develop and deliver impactful positioning and messaging for new categories of internal and external stakeholders, effectively presenting Snowflake's compelling value proposition to our partners. This includes deep dives into ecosystem development and understanding the diverse applicability of stakeholders within our programs to inspire investment.

  • Optimize Partner Experience & Operational Excellence: Continuously enhance the partner journey by driving process improvements at every touchpoint. You will establish cross-functional activation programs, align across communications channels, develop measurable approaches to track success, proactively identify potential risks, and implement effective, data-driven resolutions to ensure partner satisfaction and efficiency.

  • Lead Content Strategy & Development for Growth: Serve as a primary content expert, conceiving and developing compelling new assets for various workloads, industries, and thought leadership initiatives. You will recommend optimal content formats and lead end-to-end campaign content development for key areas that drive partner adoption and revenue.

  • Build & Cultivate a High-Performing Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop top talent, consistently raising the bar for the team through regular, specific, and actionable feedback that fosters professional growth.

  • Champion Cross-Functional Alignment & Collaboration: Proactively identify and resolve organizational misalignments, distilling complex issues and fostering direct, proactive discussions. You will communicate challenges transparently, seek independent solutions, and clearly articulate needs for support, including resource allocation or charter adjustments, to ensure collective success.

  • Set Ambitious Goals & Strategic Priorities: Establish overarching objectives that extend beyond your immediate team, with a clear one-year outlook, such as comprehensive Partner Category Plans designed to accelerate partner growth and contribution.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
  • Extensive Leadership Experience: Possesses 12-15 years of progressive experience in relevant fields, including a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial capacity within a fast-paced technology environment.

  • Integrated Marketing & Communications Expertise: Demonstrates a strong blend of Product Marketing and Communications acumen, capable of translating complex technical concepts into compelling, partner-centric narratives that drive action and investment.

  • Deep Partner & Ecosystem Acumen: Has a proven track record in Audience Marketing, with a distinct preference for experience in Partner or Ecosystem Marketing, understanding the unique dynamics of channel engagement and motivation.

  • Strategic Vision & Tactical Execution: Exhibits the ability to think strategically about partner development and enablement, while also being highly adept at hands-on execution and tactical problem-solving to ensure initiatives deliver tangible results.

  • Exceptional Influencer & Communicator: A natural storyteller and persuasive influencer, skilled at crafting clear, concise, and impactful messages for diverse internal and external audiences, and owning critical communication channels.

  • Analytical & Growth-Oriented: Possesses a strong data-driven approach to partner development, capable of defining metrics, tracking efficacy, and continuously optimizing programs for measurable impact and accelerated growth.

  • Inspiring Leader & Collaborative Partner: A proven team builder who leads by example, fosters a high-performance culture, and excels at driving cross-functional alignment and collaboration across various teams to achieve shared, ambitious goals.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $171,000 - $244,600.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake's bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
