YOU As a Director, Learning and Organizational Development, you will create and execute strategies that build organizational capability, drive employee engagement, and support a culture of continuous learning and performance. You will lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of enterprise-wide learning and development initiatives, leadership development programs, talent management strategies, and organizational effectiveness efforts. WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time) Develop and oversee implementation of a multi-year implementation roadmap for global adoption of optimal learning and organizational development initiatives. Anticipate global learning needs and deliver proactive learning solutions by developing and maintaining exposure to key operational leaders. Develop and deliver high-impact presentations to inform and gain buy-in from key stakeholders, including Senior Leadership Team members (30%). Oversee the execution of enterprise-wide performance and succession management processes and programs to enable effective talent planning and strong leadership pipelines. Lead ongoing evaluation efforts to ensure effectiveness and needed enhancements (15%) Drive improvement in employee engagement through survey and post survey activities. (15%) Oversee an effective enterprise-wide Learning Governance structure. Lead the deployment of standards, procedures, and processes to ensure optimal use and adoption of learning and development practices and solutions. (10%) In collaboration with HR systems team, evaluate the technology solutions and other talent enablement tools to streamline employee and manager engagement in performance management, career development, and other key talent management activities. (10%) Conduct applied research and benchmarking to ensure that Simpson Strong-Tie's learning and organizational development practices are consistent with best-in-class industry practices as measured by recognized and respected external organizations (i.e. Bersin, Gallup, Gartner, etc.).(10%) Develop, deploy, and maintain appropriate change management and culture change approaches to support the evolving needs of the business. As needed, act as a Subject Matter Expert on large-scale change initiatives. (10%) DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE If you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. WORK ENVIRONMENT This job operates in a professional office environment where standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers/scanners, etc. are frequently used. TRAVEL REQUIRED This job requires 25% domestic and 5% international travel. WORK STATUS & LOCATION This full-time, exempt position is located in Pleasanton, CA or Plano, TX. With approval, the job may be able to be done partially remotely. RELOCATION Relocation is available for this position. Pay $120,900 - $246,500 / year *Posted pay range is based upon national average and may vary depending on geographical work location.
