Your Team, Your Impact

Marvell's Coherent DSP team develops state-of-the-art mixed signal analog and digital signal processing solutions for optical interfaces using coherent technology. Our portfolio includes industry-leading products like Canopus, Deneb, Orion, and next generation platforms that enable high-performance optical connectivity for AI cluster, cloud, and telecom networks.

What You Can Expect

  • Assist customers in designing networking products utilizing Marvell coherent DSP products.
  • Work with customers to optimize and validate Marvell's coherent DSP solutions in optical system platforms.
  • Debug complex optical, analog, and signal processing problems in customer implementations.
  • Capture customer requirements and firmware enhancement requests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including analog, digital, DSP, system, optical and firmware teams to remove customer engineering obstacles.
  • Support characterization and validation of high-speed electro-optic components such as Mach Zehnder modulators, ICRs, and lasers.
  • Develop automated test solutions and analysis tools for optical modules and test platforms.
  • Create product documentation, application notes and technical reports for customers.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to customers on Marvell's coherent DSP solutions.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields and 5+ years of related professional experience. OR Master's degree and/or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 3+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of DSP and its application to coherent optical communications
  • Hands-on experience with high-speed electro-optic components and characterization techniques
  • Proficiency in programming languages and analysis tools such as Python, C/C++, or MATLAB
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Experience with Ethernet protocols; experience with OTN protocols a plus (preferred)
  • Knowledge of coherent transceiver module design (preferred)
  • Experience with DSP offline processing (preferred)

Expected Base Pay Range (USD)

121,400 - 181,800, $ per annum

The successful candidate's starting base pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location and market conditions. The expected base pay range for this role may be modified based on market conditions.
