Job Summary

Collaboratively plan and coordinate strategies and engagements that target Institute and unit-level challenges and priorities. Participate in institute-wide program design, organizational/cultural change efforts.

This position will interact on a regular basis with: Institute and unit management, faculty and staff, and other members of the Strategic Consulting team.

This position typically will advise and counsel: Institute and unit management, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities

Job Duty 1 -
Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to identify, define, and create solutions for the Institute and unit challenges.

Job Duty 2 -
Collect, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to isolate and resolve Institutional challenges.

Job Duty 3 -
Support the implementation of projects, surveys, programs, and other change initiatives for the Institute and/or assigned units.

Job Duty 4 -
Support the development of implementation, change management, and communication plans for recommendations provided for the Institute and/or unit challenges and priorities.

Job Duty 5 -
Support the development of project documentation such as project scope agreements, status reports, assessment tools (such as surveys or interview guides), assessment reports, improvement roadmaps, and other documents to assist senior consultants and other members of project teams.

Job Duty 6 -
Coordinate the documentation, tracking, and communication of project tasks and progress through an online project management tool and status reporting mechanisms.

Job Duty 7 -
Assist in defining, tracking, and communicating the value and impact of projects through case study development.

Job Duty 8 -
Perform benchmark and value analysis.

Job Duty 9 -
Lead small-scale or elements of larger unit and/or institute-level projects, as instructed.

Job Duty 10 -
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Organizational Development, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience
One to two years of job-related experience

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Project Management experience
Experience with Atlassian suite
Experience with business process mapping and related business analytics
Experience with data visualization tools and methodologies
Experience with service design and delivery (in collaboration with software developers)

Preferred Experience
Two to four years of job-related experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) Use of SharePoint, Skype, WebEx, and other collaboration tools

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

ABILITIES
Ability to work within a matrix organization structure and build consensus

SKILLS
High proficiency using Excel, PowerPoint. Ability to prepare high-quality data analysis presentations and reports

Conditions of Employment

This is a LIMITED TERM position and is subject to availability of funding thereafter. All employment and assignments are ultimately contingent upon available funding, business needs, and your performance of the assignment. Georgia Tech retains the right to terminate this assignment at any time for cause or, in its sole discretion, for convenience; in either case, Georgia Tech's obligation shall be limited to payment for hours and/or days worked prior to the termination date.

This is a 24-month limited-term position.

Salary Range: $63,303.00 - $86,091.00
