Retail Member Advisor's primary responsibilities are in the servicing of existing members through issue resolution and product consulting as well as in obtaining new and renewal business. The Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service and Support
- Provide customer-friendly service experience for healthcare, health insurance, and related topics
- Resolve member issues, including product and billing inquiries
- Educate members on self-service tools
- Guide members to value-based providers
- Sales and Business Development
- Generate leads for new sales, replacement, and add-on products
- Identify and contact at-risk customers to develop retention strategies
- Contact prospects for sales opportunities using lead management tools
- Set appointments for sales visits
- Sell health and ancillary insurance products to Florida individual consumers and small groups
- Conduct plan comparisons and analysis for existing members seeking new solutions
- Product Implementation and Fulfillment
- Facilitate application process and perform field underwriting
- Monitor enrollment process in partnership with Direct Sales' Senior Advisor
- Promote and facilitate APO enrollment and set-up
- Deliver product fulfillment materials to customers
- Ensure new customers receive orientations on self-service tools and value-added features
- Outreach and Engagement
- Host Customer Video Appointments
- Conduct outbound call campaigns for Under 65 and Over 65 segments
- Generate referrals from existing client base
Important Information: Flexible Work Schedule: This role requires working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Also, the position will be onsite at the retail center as well as other marketing events within the Jacksonville area. Appointment Scheduling Policy: As a Florida Blue agent, you are only permitted to schedule appointments with the following companies: Florida Blue, USAble, FCL, and Health Options. Scheduling appointments with any other health and life insurance company is strictly prohibited while employed with Florida Blue. Licensure Requirement: You must hold a current and active State of Florida 2-40 an/or 2-15 license. If you do not currently hold this license, you must obtain it within 60 days of your hire date. What Is REQUIRED:
- 3+ years related work experience in a sales and service environment
- High school diploma or GED
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience using MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Internet and web-based tools
Required Licenses and Certifications:
- Current and active State of Florida 2-40 license or obtain with 60 days of hire
What Is Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field Marketing
- Experience with health insurance products to include individual and group plans
- Bilingual in Spanish/English
General Physical Demands: Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Typical Hourly Pay Range: $20 - $25 (This is the budgeted and set pay range for the selected candidate) Hourly Pay Range: $20 - $33 (This is to show the financial long-term growth over time)
