Shop Worker

Staffmark is hiring a Shop Worker to join a team that specializes in crafting high-end custom wood flooring, stair treads, and architectural wood components. Whether you're a seasoned woodworker or just getting started, this is a great opportunity to grow your skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $15.00/hour

Responsibilities:

• Operate woodworking equipment including table saws, planers, jointers, chop saws, and CNC routers
• Cut, sand, stain, and finish wood products to precise specifications
• Follow shop drawings and work orders to ensure high-quality results
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace; assist with loading/unloading materials
• Mix stains, operate UV finishing systems, and perform quality control inspections
• Package and prepare finished products for delivery or installation

What We're Looking For:

• Experience in flooring installation or carpentry preferred
• Comfortable lifting up to 75 lbs and standing for long periods
• Willingness to work in hot conditions and fast-paced settings
• Familiarity with hand tools and basic mechanical skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in woodworking or finishing is a plus-not required
• Forklift certification or background in architectural woodwork is a bonus
