Staffmark is seeking a talented and motivated Production Technician to join a high-performing metal fabrication team in Dayton, OH. This is your opportunity to bring your polishing, sanding, and grinding expertise to an innovative manufacturer known for precision craftsmanship and high-quality aluminum finishes.

Hours & Pay:

Shift: 1st shift | Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday | 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Pay: $22+ per hour (based on experience)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Polish and finish aluminum parts using manual and machine tools
• Operate buffing wheels, sanders, grinders, and burnishing tools
• Inspect materials for quality, consistency, and aesthetics
• Apply chemical coatings as needed for durability and appearance
• Maintain a safe, organized work environment following OSHA standards
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to troubleshoot finishing challenges
• Perform progressive sanding and polishing techniques to achieve high-end results

What We're Looking For:

• 1-3 years of experience in aluminum polishing, sanding, or metal finishing (required)
• Experience operating buffing/grinding tools and applying finishing techniques
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering flawless results
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• High school diploma or equivalent (technical training is a plus)
• Team player with strong communication and problem-solving skills
