The Opportunity with McKinstry We are currently seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our Data Center Innovation team as a member of our Engineering and Design division. As the Lead Electrical Engineer, you will lead system design, coordination between internal and external stakeholders, and be the go-to point person for deliverable content. The Data Center Innovations Engineering Team supports and uplifts the data center work at McKinstry. Whether a 100 Megawatt Design-Build construction project, an offsite manufacturing product, or a consulting-only opportunity, the Engineering expertise comes from this team. This position is an opportunity to be part of a fast growing, high performing team, that is focused on delivering smart solutions. Project Management
Engineering * Coach/delegate electrical systems design including load calculations, generator studies, power systems studies to include TCC curves, harmonic calculations, renewable systems design, and mission critical redundancy systems design. * Direct and contribute to production of building information models for design and construction phases of projects. * Perform coordination with internal and external team members. * Identify opportunities for process and technology improvements. * Mission critical equipment specifications and procurement support Customer Relations * Attend regular design meetings with customers and external stakeholders. * Represent McKinstry in the community through participation in professional industry groups critical to McK's LOBs. If you're driven by our vision to build a thriving planet together, McKinstry is the place to build your career. The pay range for this position is $95,310 - $140,130 per year; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered.
