Vice President, Alternate Credit Administration Officer
The Vice President, Alternate Credit Administration Officer (ACAO), BLC Private Banking Credit Center (PBCC) manager is responsible for managing loan origination processes primarily for the Private Banking division. This position oversees: approving credit requests; providing independent input and consultative support to credit underwriting and review process; recruiting, training and supervision of underwriting officers and commercial underwriters; management of the credit production workload; and ensuring compliance with the Bank's policies, procedures and regulatory and reporting requirements.

Reporting Information:
The ACAO, BLC PBCC Manager reports to the BLC Director. This position manages a team of 3-5 underwriting officers and 6-8 commercial underwriters.

Position Responsibilities:


  • Manages team of underwriters and underwriting officers to process loan approval requests delivering consistent high-quality products within the stated SLA timelines.
  • Possesses lending and unilateral authority up to $2.5 million.
  • Maintains standard, streamlined, and efficient underwriting processes.
  • Oversees processes and approvals for consistency with the Bank's risk appetite, data integrity standards and credit policies.
  • Partners with assigned line of business to assist in reaching targets with effective and efficient underwriting.
  • Continuous review of procedures, processes, and credit policy with a keen focus on process improvement and efficiency.
  • Effectively uses corporate technology for workflow management and required communications.
  • Leverage workload management tools/reports for appropriate coaching to meet production, timeliness, and quality metrics.
  • Recruits, manages, develops, trains, and retains staff.
  • Participates and leads strategic initiatives and process improvements within the BLC.

Position Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University
  • 8 years of commercial credit and/or commercial lending experience
  • 2 years of management experience in an operational setting
  • Completion of a formal commercial credit training

Work Best Category: Category C - Days in the office will either be designated days or will vary week to week from 2-5 days Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday. This position includes onsite and remote work days. Salary: To Be Determined Based on Individual Experience
