Lead Low Voltage Technician - TEKsystems's Client Based in Nashville | Office Rebuild Project | Fire, Access, CCTV, Nurse Call, Intercom
Are you a hands-on leader with a passion for low-voltage systems and a drive to make an impact? TEKsystems's client is looking for a Lead Low Voltage Technician to help spearhead the rebuild of their Nashville office and take charge of high-profile commercial installations. This is your chance to step into a role where technical expertise meets leadership. You'll be the go-to technician for installing, configuring, and servicing a wide range of systems-from fire alarms and access control to CCTV, nurse call, and intercoms-while setting the standard for excellence and teamwork. What You'll Be Doing * Lead and execute installations, service calls, and system upgrades across multiple low-voltage platforms. * Program, start up, and troubleshoot systems including fire alarms, access control, CCTV, nurse call, and intercom. * Collaborate with project leads and clients to ensure smooth communication and timely project delivery. * Review technical drawings and contracts to ensure accurate installations. * Perform inspections to ensure systems meet code and quality standards. * Respond to emergency service calls and maintain detailed project documentation. What You Bring * Deep knowledge of low-voltage systems and the ability to lead by example. * Strong communication skills-both written and verbal. * Experience with Cat6 cabling, hand tools, multi-meters, and reading technical drawings. * Ability to climb ladders, operate lifts, and work on-site during regular and on-call hours. * A mindset focused on integrity, results, and team culture. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
