Entry-Level Helper Technician - TEKsystems's Client Based in Nashville \| Commercial Projects \| Career-Starting Opportunity Ready to break into the world of low-voltage systems and commercial tech installs? TEKsystems's client is looking for a Helper Technician to join their growing team in Nashville-no cabling experience required, just a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn! This is your chance to get hands-on with voice, data, and fire alarm systems on some of the most exciting projects in the city-including Kroger upgrades, airport expansions, and a 24-story hotel build kicking off early next year. What You'll Be Doing * Assist lead techs with installing, testing, and terminating CAT6 cable. * Learn the ropes of voice/data and fire alarm systems on large-scale commercial sites. * Gain experience with punchdowns, cable pulls, and structured cabling. * Be part of a team that values precision, safety, and hustle. What You Bring * A reliable ride to the job site and a strong sense of responsibility. * Basic knowledge of commercial construction (or a strong desire to learn). * A positive attitude, dependability, and the drive to grow into a long-term role. * All employees must be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
