Vaco is hiring an Accounting Clerk Compensation $24-$26/hour Location: Boca Raton Overview: Accounts Payable (AP): Enter invoices into the accounting system accurately and timely Monitor incoming AP emails and respond or route as needed Match invoices to purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies Reconcile and apply pre-payments by downloading reports and processing transactions Accounts Receivable (AR): Review AR aging reports regularly and assist in collections processes Prepare and send customer letters twice a month to follow up on outstanding balances Process deposits and apply payments to customer accounts Generate and deposit invoices as needed General Accounting Duties: Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for accounting records Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing processes Support other accounting and administrative tasks as assigned Qualifications: Associate's degree or Bachelors degree preferred 2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role Basic understanding of accounting principles (GAAP) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Must be intermediate user) Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Good written and verbal communication skills Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs.
