Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Job Summary Responsible for directing Radiation oncology programs including radiation clinical operations, physics, dosimetry and clinical operations
Essential Functions

Directs Radiation and Physics clinical operations performance expectations, and department objectives. This includes but is not limited to oncology related imaging, radiation treatment delivery, physics, dosimetry, brachytherapy, systems and compliance. Ensures the correct use of charge codes and required documentation by oncology clinical staff per GHS oncology revenue cycle guidelines. Ensures charges are entered in an accurate and timely manner. In collaboration with radiation oncologists identifies capital equipment and technology needs for patient treatment. Directs radiation and physics capital equipment and service agreement negotiations with vendors. Develops plan of organization, annual operating goals and budget for the departments in support of the program's strategic and business plans under the direction of the Cancer Institute Administrator, Medical Director and Central Region Chief Operating Officer. Responsible for business practices in radiation oncology including coding billing and charge reconciliation. Directs the implementation of policies and procedures throughout radiation oncology to comply with Prisma Health guidelines and requirements. Fulfills a leadership role overseeing / coordinating several key cancer Quality, Compliance and Accreditation initiatives for American College of Radiology. Participates on the Cancer Institute Advisory Board and other committees whose purpose and focus are dedicated to supporting the attainment of Cancer Institute goals. Oversees the Aria Radiation EMR platform. Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
Job has direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have direct reports.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Master's degree in Nursing, Physics, Dosimetry Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field of study. -
Experience - Eight (8) years of experience in healthcare management in a RadiationOncology setting.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and data entry. Mathematical skills. Knowledge of office equipment (fax/copier). Knowledge of the concepts, terminology, principles, and methodologies of cancer services. Experience with various oncology service lines managers and how they work together to drive results/attain goals. -
Experience implementing organizational improvements to enhance productivity.
